Accessibility Statement

Our commitment

Buckingham Builders aims for this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. We test it with a keyboard, on phones and with automated checks, and we fix problems as we find them.

What we’ve done

• A “Skip to content” link and a clear heading structure on every page
• Everything works with a keyboard, with a visible outline showing where you are
• Text and background colors chosen for strong contrast
• Descriptions (alt text) for photos of our homes and team
• Form fields with labels, and errors that are explained in words and announced to screen readers
• Animations are reduced or switched off if your device is set to reduce motion
• Pages that resize for phones and tablets and allow zooming

Known limitations

Some content comes from other services, such as our Google Maps listing and Facebook page. We can’t control how accessible those sites are.

Some older project photos and plan drawings may not have detailed descriptions yet. If you’d like more detail about any home or plan, ask us and we’ll describe it.
